Another insomnia indication is for someone who has tense muscles and can’t relax enough naturally to fall asleep. Restless legs at night could also be calmed with skullcap. Skullcap can be taken over time as a nerve tonic to support nervous system health in people who have been through prolonged periods of stress and feel like their nerves are constantly on edge. Skullcap herb is a reliable relaxing nervine that is especially beneficial for people who have signs of heat and tension.

Catnip (Nepeta cataria) a versatile and wonderful plant, catnip is safe and effective and easy to use. An excellent calming herb, It calms and sedates and can be used for all manner of stress. It is particularly beneficial for lowering fever and for pain of toothaches. It is also a restorative digestive aid used for indigestion, diarrhea and colic.

Lemon Balm (from the mint/lamiaceae family) is a relaxing and uplifting nervine that helps with anxiety & depression. Helps restore overall nervous system function. Very useful when stress & anxiety affects digestion.

Pairs well together as a sedative blend of tincture and tea for a soothing stress relief focus.

Ingredients:  Organic skullcap aerial parts & 76% grain vodka macerated for 8 weeks.
1.5 oz of organic dried lemon balm & catnip.

Directions: Shake well before use. Keep in a cool dark area.Keep out of reach of children. Avoid use during pregnancy.

0.25 mL dose 1-3 x/day before bed with tea. Use 1 tsp of catnip & lemon balm/cup of tea steep for 15 minutes. Strain and enjoy!
