Ingredients: Organic chamomile loose leaf tea
Directions: Avoid use during pregnancy.
Use 1 tsp of chamomile/cup of tea. Infuse for 5 minutes, strain and pour. Drink 2-3 cups daily, or as often as needed. This herb has lasting effects if used over a period of several weeks. It is nice to blend with other herbs that support the nervous system, such as lemon balm.
For small dogs and cats, a few teaspoons of diluted chamomile tea (using one teaspoon per cup of water) can be added to their water bowl or mixed with their food. Larger dogs may require slightly more, up to a tablespoon or two. It's essential to ensure that the tea is cooled to room temperature before offering it to pets. Chamomile may also be used topically to soothe skin irritations or wounds in pets. In such cases, chamomile-infused creams, ointments, or sprays can be applied as directed by a veterinarian. By following appropriate dosage guidelines and consulting with a veterinarian, pet owners can safely incorporate chamomile into their pets' wellness routine to promote relaxation, alleviate digestive discomfort, and support overall well-being.
